Ancient petroglyphs can be seen following a short walk at Sproat Lake Provincial Park, and picnic sites are also in this area. Camping is available nearby at upper and lower campgrounds.

Sproat Lake is residentially populated along some shores. “The Lake” as it’s called by residents, also has public swimming, boating and fishing, with a launch ramp at the west end of the park. The Sproat Lake Raft Race each August where raft-crafters compete for the best looking and first to the finish line.
